Biography: Born to a single mother in Australia, life could have gone very differently for little Dylan John Randall. Raised without really knowing just who his father was the young boy attended school and stayed close to his mothers side for the start of his life. Lorien Randall wanted the best life for her son, and soon made the move across the ocean in order to live in LA and try her hand at acting. Work was not easy to come by, and there were nights when Dylan only a little bread to eat, and Lorien had none. But no matter how low on cash the Randall family got Dylan always attended school neat, and with at least the $1.25 he needed for a hot lunch. School was always the top priority in the family, and Dylan worked hard at it to please his mother.

Life changed dramatically for the two when Lorien won a starring role in the film The Amazing Mr. Ripley and used her knew connections to get Dylan what at the time seemed like a small bit role as the main child actor in The Sixth Sense. Lorien allowed Dylan to be in one other movie before pulling him out of the business until 2003, not wanting his grades to suffer. Both Randalls won roles in the first Narnia film and it was not long before the cute who kid who could see dead people was a regular on the covers of Tiger Beat and other teen magazines. In 2009 Dylan worked on his first mature movie since youth, staring in The Reader. Since that film he has started to get his feet wet in harder roles, leaving the chain mail of Narnia behind.

Dylan is a graduate of UCLA College of Drama and continues to live with his mother while in California. He had not officially come out of the closet, but close friends and family are aware that he is gay.
